PRIVACY STATEMENT

Your privacy is important to us. Please take the time to read the following Privacy Statement and contact us if you have questions or concerns. Just as the Internet changes, our Privacy Statement may change from time to time. This statement effective 01/01/2004.

Cookies
A “cookie” is a text file that contains bits of volunteered user information. When you visit a website, the web server hosting that site creates a cookie containing a randomly generated visitor ID and other volunteered information, and sends it back to your computer. Then, each time you access the website again, your browser sends the cookie back to the site, which uses the information to personalize its pages for you. For example, if the website is a vendor where you have previously purchased items, the cookie can allow the site to greet you by name and to remember what you had in your shopping cart when you last logged off.

In the ECRS.US context, cookies can be used to remember your password so that you do not have to remember it every time you log in, and to provide personalized information based on your stated preferences.

It is possible to set your browser to inform you when a cookie is being placed. This way you have the opportunity to decide whether or not to accept it. Every browser sets cookie options in a different way. For instructions on how to modify your browser so that it asks for your permission before accepting cookies, open browser Help and do a search for the keyword cookies.

IP Addresses
ECRS.US web servers automatically collect limited information about your computer's connection to the Internet, including your IP address, when you visit ECRS.US. Your IP address is a number that identifies your computer and allows other computers to communicate with it, for example, to send the web pages you view. An IP address does not identify any associated user personally. ECRS.US uses IP addresses only to deliver our web pages to you upon request, and to measure traffic within our sites.
